Phased array ultrasonic testing is an advanced application of ultrasonic testing technology. This technique can be used to inspect welds, identify cracks and defects, measure thickness and inspect corrosion. Due to the accurate representation of the size, shape, depth and direction of the defects, the phased array test can usually be used instead of the radiographic test.
