PMI is the analysis of a metal alloy to determine its composition by reading the percentage values ​​of its constituent elements. Temperature is often the first and easiest indication of a developing problem and can be quickly used as a screening technique for situations that require further analysis. A non-contact infrared thermometer allows you to maintain a safe distance from the object and take the most accurate measurements over a wide range of temperatures, hence the term “non-contact”.
